Important Details about the MyYachtCo Owner Circle
MyYachtCo does not retain any shares in the yacht. All six shares belong entirely to the owners.
As the operator, MyYachtCo is responsible for organization, maintenance and handovers.
The use of the yacht follows a transparent selection process.
At the beginning of each year, the owners choose their sailing weeks through an online system.
The weeks are allocated in several selection rounds so that each owner can plan their usage fairly.
MyYachtCo manages all handovers and prepares the yacht for each owner.
If a yacht should temporarily become unavailable for technical reasons, MyYachtCo will provide a comparable replacement yacht.
Your booked sailing time remains guaranteed.
MyYachtCo maintains its own boats in the region.
Check-in: Saturday from 13:00
Check-out: Saturday until 09:00
MyYachtCo handles cleaning and preparation.
No handover between owners
No organizational effort
Clear structure
Earlier check-in may be possible if the yacht is already prepared.
Each owner receives eight weeks of usage per year:
• four weeks in the main season (May – October)
• four weeks in the off-season (November – April)
Weeks are selected annually through a transparent process.
Usage always runs from Saturday to Saturday.
The sailing season in the eastern Mediterranean is exceptionally long and runs from May to October.
Owners: 6
Usage: 8 weeks per year
Main season: May – October
Off-season: November – April
Each owner nominates two persons at the beginning of the year who will be registered with the insurance as responsible skippers.
The yacht will only be handed over to these registered persons and returned by them.
Subletting or renting the yacht to third parties is not permitted.
Registered skippers must hold a valid sailing license.
Friends and family are of course welcome to join – as long as one of the registered skippers is on board.
The yacht remains exclusively within the private owner circle.
No charter operation

Owners only
If an owner does not yet have sufficient sailing experience, an optional MyYachtCo instructor skipper can be booked.
An owner may sell their share before the five-year term ends.
The sale must be made to a person approved by MyYachtCo in order to maintain the harmony and quality of the Owner Circle.
MyYachtCo can assist in finding a suitable new owner if required.
After five years the yacht will be sold and the proceeds distributed proportionally among the owners.
Each owner can then freely decide:
• to join a new yacht
• to purchase their own yacht
• or to leave the model
MyYachtCo holds a right of first refusal in order to find a suitable new owner.
